NESL Marks app for iPhone and iPad

This app provides members of ESL, European Sailing League, the possibility to define the race course of a sail race.
The app is meant to be used in conjunction with the NESL Tracker app. ESL Marks will be used for defining the race course that the devices running the NESL Race Tracker will run.
The app will report the position of the device as well as the battery power remaining. These values are sent to a server that collects the data, which then can be viewed live in a separate web solution.
When you hit Connect the device will establish a connection to the server and once the right status light, in the top right corner, turns green the connection is established. When the connection is established the device begins a synchronization procedure with the server and once in sync, the left status light in the top right corner turns green.
If connection is broken the two status lights turn red and a procedure to connect and synchronize automatically begins.

You can enter your start number and race id either before or after you connect, but your data will not be shown in external clients until you enter these values.
